Children from Brownlea Primary School on the Isle of Wight, Our Lady of Mount Carmel First School in Redditch  and Richard Taylor School in Harrogate were delighted to get a message from Apollo astronaut Al Worden this term.

When celebrating the Apollo 50th Anniversary in the summer term, children from all of these schools practiced their letter writing skills to write to a real NASA Apollo astronaut. They told him all about how they had been celebrating this historical anniversary, as well as all about the Space Camp programmes that their teachers have set up. It was also a great opportunity to ask all the questions they had about living and working in space.

A special thank you to @Space_Lectures for delivering the letter and a really special thank you to Al Worden for taking an interest in Space Camp schools and taking the time to support the project.
